MiC (Modular Integrated Construction) is an innovative “first fit-out, then assemble” construction method. It shifts most traditional on-site building processes to a controlled factory environment, where fully prefabricated three-dimensional modules — complete with interior finishes, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, and structural components — are produced. These modules are then transported to the site and assembled like building blocks, significantly improving construction efficiency while reducing carbon footprint.

The Four Key Stages of MiC Construction

1. Off-site Prefabrication

In a controlled factory setting, structural fabrication, interior decoration, MEP installations, and bathroom pod assembly are carried out simultaneously, minimizing the impact of weather and site constraints.

2. Quality Control

Each module undergoes rigorous quality inspections, waterproofing tests, and functional verification before leaving the factory to ensure compliance with Hong Kong and international building standards.

3. Transportation

Completed three-dimensional modules are delivered to the construction site using specialized heavy transport vehicles, greatly reducing on-site material storage and waste.

4. On-site Installation

Modules are precisely lifted by cranes into position, followed by structural connections, MEP system integration, and final assembly to form a complete building.
